This course will introduce students to Java and software design. Students with a basic programming background (C++) will learn the syntax and semantics for planning and writing a computer program in Java. Successful completion of this course will allow the student to plan, build, implement, and execute both Windows applications (graphical user interfaces) and Java applets for Web pages In addition, students will learn to translate a program design into a functional Java program. : CSC 115.
