This course is designed for individuals who have been certified by the NYS Department of Health as an Advanced Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate for the purpose of maintaining their competency in providing emergency medical care. The content reviews the concepts and materials covered in the AEMT-I course. After successful completion of this course, students are eligible to take the NYS certification exam Recertification is required every three (3) years. Persons will only be able to receive college credit for this course once. Proof of certification as an EMT-I. F
