This course focuses on fostering global awareness of "non- Western" cultures by utilizing films, usually from the countries of origin, to provide an artistic representation through film into these cultures. Cinematic offerings will concentrate on Asia, Latin America, Africa, and the Middle East. In addition, films from Eastern Europe as well as films by Native Americans may be included : ENG 101. B
