The goal of the course will be to explore the skills and responsibilities demanded for a position as Art Director or Creative Director as it pertains to working in advertising or editorial design. Students will explore different approaches to creative problem solving combining words and images resulting in strong conceptual work. Students will complete their designs to a finish geared toward a client presentation, and make critical decisions along the way on how the work would ultimately be produced. Prerequisite(s): VIS 222 (2,2) 3 credits
