An introduction to the principles of black & white photography. This course will include the use of the camera, film processing and photographic printing. Some of the basic technical aspects of photography will be covered, although the primary emphasis of this course is design and composition. Students must supply their own 35mm SLR camera, film and photographic paper. Prerequisite(s): VIS 112 and/or Department approval (2,2) 3 credits
