Students will complete an introductory clinical internship in molecular diagnostics, with advanced practical experience in other areas of the clinical laboratory including emphasis on special testing, problem solving, and quality assurance. The clinical experience will include an introduction to the use of Laboratory Information Systems and various administrative concepts involved in laboratory operations.
