ME T307 - Electromechanical Control Systems

Institution:
Farmingdale State College
Subject:
Description:
The objective of this course is to present a comprehensive, concise and modern treatment of the fundamental principles of feedback and linear control system theory & practice. The theory part of the course considers the conceptual framework and terminology of feedback and control systems, methods of determining the stability of linear systems, transfer functions, block diagrams and signal flow graphs. Laboratory exercises demonstrate the fundamental behavior of pneumatic, electro pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Special topics include the use of microprocessors in control system technology.
