NUR 225 - Transition into Nursing Practice

This course offers an opportunity for additional clinical experiences for the student in the final semester of the nursing curriculum. For 90 hours, the student will practice side by side with a Registered nurse in one of our affiliated agencies. A clinical instructor will be available for guidance and consultation. The goals of the course are to provide the soon-to-graduate student with increased opportunities to gain confidence in his/her skills, to increase socialization into the profession, and to improve his/her ability to function as a nurse in the workplace.
