By exploring one of the most beautiful and bio-diverse ecosystems of the world students will enrich their course study by having the unique opportunity to combine their understanding of tropical plants, gain the knowledge of their importance, and their role in sustaining the surrounding ecology. In addition, by being immersed in another culture and being engaged in cross-cultural comparisons, students will gain a better understanding of the connection between the physical environment and social environment.
