Discussion of alternative pest control programs with emphasis on their safety and environmental quality. Such programs will include: mechanical or physical removal of the pest, biological control such as introduction of beneficial organisms (both micro and macro organisms), and chemical control. The chemical control will be discussed in conjunction with other methods mentioned above and usually as a last resort. (3,0) 3 credits
