Private Pilot- Ground Training will enable the student to meet the prerequisite(s) s specified in CFR 14 Part 61.105 as well as CFR 14 Part 141 Appendix B. Selected subject areas will include airplane systems, aerodynamic principals, flight environment, communication and flight information, meteorology for pilots, FAR's, NTSB, AC's, interpretation of weather data,aircraft performance, navigation, human factors, and cross country flight planning. Upon completing this course, the student will be able to take the FAA "Knowledge Examination" necessary for the Private Pilot certificate. (3,0) 3 credits
