Sociocultural Anthropology is concerned with the examination of the social and cultural similarities and differences in the world's human populations. Subsistence patterns, social organization, economic structures, political systems, religion, and creative behavior are the major areas we cover. By examining examples ranging from small gathering and hunting groups to large modern day communities, this course provides a broad perspective on the sociocultural realities of our world.
