This course will focus on the preparation of outdoor leaders to respond to medical emergencies in remote locations. Emphasis will be placed on prevention of medical emergencies and decision-making when emergencies occur. Also covered will be extended care and prolonged transport and improvised equipment. Additional course cost will be involved to cover the cost of supplies, certification, and instructor.
