Prerequisite(s): Admission to Teacher Education and successful completion of all undergraduate science classes; Corequisite(s): This course is to be taken with CUAI 4517/5517 and 4537/5537. This course provides a PreK- 4 science education perspective. Science teaching methodology, content, skills, and dispositions are examined with an emphasis on integration with mathematics and other appropriate subject areas. Learning needs of culture, gender, and special populations are explored. Students will be required to participate in field experience in PreK-4 settings.
