Prerequisite(s): Acceptance in Dental Hygiene curriculum or special departmental approval. A study of the use of radiography in dentistry. Emphasis is placed on the formation of radiation and the properties which affect the dental image, dental radiographic techniques, radiographic processing, radio biological health, and the evaluation of dental radiographs for dental disease.
