Prerequisite(s): Admission to teacher education and completion of HDAL 3310, MEDA 3570, READ 3200, READ 3000, and SPED 2300; Corequisite(s): CUAI 4241. This course focuses on methods and materials in grades K-6. Areas of emphasis are planning, implementing, and assessing teaching and learning, integrating content and technology, and understanding and applying learning theories in the content areas. Attention is given to diversity, current issues, reflection, problem solving, and the application of content.
