Introduction to philosophy of learning online and development of skills and mastery of tools essential to success in an asynchronous learning environment. The purpose of this course is to prepare students for learning via an electronic medium, which is rapidly becoming not only an academic requirement, but also a requisite in the work force. The course has two major components - (1) tips for succeeding in an online course; and (2) the mastery of technical skills in order to learn asynchronously.
