MATH 101 - Intermediate Algebra

Basic properties of real numbers, linear equations and inequalities, quadratic equations, systems of equations, polynomials and factoring, rational expressions and equations, and radical expressions and equations, and an introduction to functions such as polynomial, exponential and logarithmic functions. Credit for MATH 101 will not be granted to anyone who has previously received credit for MATH 102. Prerequisite: Appropriate Mathematics Placement. Note: Students completing MATH 191 in the spring 2006 term or later must earn a grade of 'C'or better to meet the prerequisite for MATH 102. 3
