Emphasis is placed on ICD-9-CM coding, coding resources and tools, and official coding guidelines. Concepts integrated into laboratory and computer experience with assignment of coeds to various clinical statements, scenarios, reports, and patient records. Prerequisite: HIM 130, BIOL 323 and HIM 260. 3
