2 cl hrs, 2 lab hrs, 3 cr An advanced theory and design course in which students specify and design a complete heating, air conditioning and ventilation system. Students calculate heating and cooling loads, write specifications, utilize building and energy codes, determine ventilation requirements, and specify mechanical systems and integrate them with the building construction. AutoCad and computerized load calculation software are utilized. Prerequisites: ENVC 1220/EC 220, ENVC 2322/EC 322, ENVC 2340/EC 340, MAT 1275/MA 275
