3 cl hrs, 3 cr Introduction to the basic principles of construction management. The relationship of the owner, designer and contractor in the construction process is discussed in detail. The main parts of a building contract are studied. This course emphasizes the role of the engineer, the on-site inspector and the superintendent. The fundamentals of the Critical Path Method and computer programs used in construction will be covered. Prerequisite: FMGT 3610/FM 610
