3 cl hrs, 3 cr This course will provide students with a systems perspective of facilities. Students will view buildings as a synthesis of interrelated and dependent systems, and observe these systems at various stages throughout their rated life to see the effects of aging, wear and maintenance on their performance. Students will also examine the characteristics that are typical of different types and ages of buildings. Prerequisite: ENVC 1250/EC 250 or CMCE 2419/CT 419 or ARCH 2370/AR 370 or equivalent
