2 cl hrs, 2 lab hrs, 3 cr This course introduces students to the principles and techniques of programming a relational database on the example of MS Access database management system. Special attention is dedicated to Structured Query Language (SQL), the standard language of programming relational databases. Students will learn how to create a database and tables, and how to manipulate (insert, update, delete and retrieve) data. Prerequisites: MST 1101/MS 101 and CST 1101/CS 101
