1 cl hr, 3 lab hrs, 2 cr Operational principles of single color printing press production. Emphasis on learning the basic terminology, concepts and functions of the printing press in relationship to other factors in prepress and postpress operations. Lab work focuses on the functions of rollergroups, fountain solutions, feeding, delivery and safety controls. Students study and evaluate the characteristics and relationships among chemicals, plates, inks and stocks. Pre- or corequisite: GRA 1110/GA 110
