2 cl hrs, 2 lab hrs, 3 cr The design and construction of effective websites as both a graphic designer and programmer. Students learn how to analyze information and apply graphic design techniques to real-world scenarios. The goal is to develop effective websites that are web standards compliant, accessible to those with disabilities and forward compatible. Students will gain a solid foundation in current markup languages and applications, such as XHTML, CSS and Dreamweaver. A working knowledge of software such as Photoshop is required. Prerequisites: ADV 2400/AD 400.1, computer-related AAS degree or department approval required
