3 cl hrs, 3 cr This is a continuing course for students who have acquired basic knowledge in Elementary Chinese (CHN 101 and CHN 102). Designed to further the development of language skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing, this course emphasizes students' Mandarin proficiency through comprehensive oral and written exercises (traditional characters). Social customs and cultural aspects of everyday situations are introduced. Prerequisites or co-requisite: CHN 102 or foreign language placement test
