This course is designed to create competencies in the methods of teaching science for students preparing to teach in the K-8 classroom. Through a hands-on approach students will develop the skills to successfully create and implement science lessons appropriate for various grade levels based on state and national academic standards. Health methods will also be addressed. Prerequisite: ED 304.
