This course is designed to acquaint the teacher candidate with basic instructional teaching methods, curriculum tools, behavioral objectives, and the elements of lesson design. The course will include learning theories, cognitive research, the Cardinal Stritch University Foundational Lesson Plan Model (RIO format), collaboration and an instructional unit. Students must register concurrently for ED 200. Prerequisite: ED 100, 102, 2 of 3 PPST passed, Sophomore standing.
