This course is designed to present the philosophical and sociological basics for coaching sports from an ethical perspective. Coaching theory, administration practice and organizational problems in athletics will be covered. Other emphasis will be placed on selection of teams, recruiting, budget, motivation, relationship with family and dealing with the media.
