This course will examine the basic techniques and aesthetic considerations of color photography and printmaking. Students will become proficient in the use of color negative film, exposure and lighting as well as the production of color balanced prints. Individual and group projects will allow students to examine a variety of historical and contemporary trends in film and digital photography. Lab fee. Prerequisite: ART 111 or instructor consent.
