An interdisciplinary production and theory course that will introduce video as a documentary mode of storytelling and communication. Students will learn intermediate methods of studio production using digital cameras and non-linear postproduction editing techniques. Emphasis will be on creating projects which address the visual production needs of various business and non-profit organizations. Students will learn post-production editing techniques using Final Cut Express and Soundtrack software. Class discussion will cover current trends in the information and entertainment industry. Lab fee. Prerequisite: ART 115.
