This is an introductory course in Asian, African or Oceanian art. Asian art will include a study of the art of India, China and Japan and their interrelationship. African art will concentrate on the art objects in the cultural context. Oceanian art will trace the development of the arts in the South Sea islands and the cultures that produced them. Satisfies General Education (Core) requirement. Lab fee.
