Description:
This course will continue to examine themes and principles of black-and-white photography. Specific topics include documentary photography, portraiture and product photography. Students will be introduced to a variety of studio lighting strategies, the view camera and digital photography. Discussions about various business practices (model release, freelance contracts, copyright) will be discussed. Guest speakers and field trips to photography studios will enhance our discussion regarding the business of photography. Lab fee. Prerequisite: ART 111.
