This is an introduction to the theories, operations, and applications of spectroscopic, electrochemical, and chromatographic instrumentation in chemical analysis. Students will acquire hands-on experience in the operation and use of several instruments commonly employed in the inorganic and organic chemical analysis. Environmental chemistry majors will mainly focus on the analysis of environmentally important compounds. Lab fee. Prerequisite: CH 307.
