Overview of theoretical and empirical research on organizations and bureaucracies. Analysis of intersections between work, family, and leisure, and links between inequality, race, gender, and work. Examinations of unions and professional organizations. Review of public policy debates and legislation regarding corporations and work-related issues. Also listed under SC 280.
