2 hours credit Introduction to the library resources of physical and biological sciences with emphasis on chemistry and physics. Use of the original literature, abstracts, and applications. Development and oral presentation of a research paper and semi nar attenda nce. The final exam is the program assessment instrument. Students taking the course prior to their last year of courses will receive an I for the course and take the final during their last semester prior to graduation. Lecture 2 hours. Prerequisite: Senior standing with a major in chemistry, ph ysics, or natur al science.
