4 hours credit A terminal course which completes a basic background in chemistry by emphasizing the organic, analytical and physical chemistry of compounds of interest in biology, agriculture and home economics. Basic analytical theory and fundamental thermodynamics and kinetics as applied to organic and biological molecules will be studied. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 3 hours. Prerequisite: CHEM 334 5 or equivalent. May not be substituted for any chemistry major requirements.
