4 hours credit Emphasis is on plate tectonics, the rock cycle, and the hydrologic cycle. Discussion involved igneous, sedimentary and metamorphic rocks; results of erosion of the earth's surface by streams, oceans, winds, glaciers; phenomena of mountains, volcanoes, earthquakes and interior of the earth. Available field trips. Lecture 3 hours, laboratory 2 hours.
