3 hours credit Introduction to and use of application development tools for object-ori ented programmi ng. Emphasi zes stepwise refinement of fourth generation computer languages (4GLs) and introduces CASE (Computer-Aided- Software Engineering) tools during the developmental process. Student designs elementary business solutions using general application development software, report generation, macro, query, an d other application features. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisite: CIS 1063 or department permission.
