3 hours credit The historical impact of viruses, Trojans, worms and other information security threats as well as anti-virus efforts will be examined. Students will exhibit a mastery of communication skills by writing several significant research papers and several signific ant oral presentations concerning the his tory of information assuran ce/secur ity. Students will learn effective uses of technology for communicating. This is a communications intensive course. Lecture 3 hours. Prerequisite: CIS 1013 and ENG 1113.
