2 hours credit Establishes foundation of basic leadership fund amentals such as problem solving, communicat ions, briefings and effective writing, goal setting, tec hniques for improving listening and speaking sk ills and an introduction to counseling. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 3 hours*. *Participation in Leadership Lab and Physical Fitness training is optional for "Non-Contracted" cadets (buthighly encouraged); Mandatory for "Contracted" cadets.
