3 hours credit Basic principles of animal nutrition including composition, characteristics, digestion, absorption, and metabolism of various feedstuffs and ration additives, qualitative and quantitative nutrient requirements of each of the classes of livestock, formulation of rations for each of the classes of livestock. Lecture 2 hours, laboratory 2 hours. Prerequisites: AGRC 1124 and CHEM 1364/1361.
