Radiation safety train-ing, techniques in sample preparation, operation of equipment and interpre-tation of diffraction data. 2 laboratories. Prerequisite: Graduate standing in engineering or science or instructor's permission. Concurrent: MATE 520. Materials analysis and characterization or Special topics course.
