Work on multi-disciplinary teams to complete an integrated civil design project. Focus of formal instruction on selected topics in geotechnical, structural, transportation, and water resources engineering design. Topics, related to interpersonal communication, teamwork, leadership, ethics, and professional practice, addressed to promote understanding of the nontechnical issues and skills that must be mastered to become a successful design professional. 2 lectures, 1 laboratory. Prerequisite: CE 221, CE 222, CE 336, CE 337, CE 355, CE 356, CE 381, CE 382, senior standing, and consent of instructor.
