Data normalization, data integrity, the effect of business rules on data normalization. Advanced queries using structured query language (SQL). Database application development culminating in a database project. 4 lectures. Prerequisite: BUS 390 or CSC 103 and BUS 391; Business majors must have formally declared their concentration to enroll. Changed effective Fall 2008.
