Prerequisite(s): BUIS 260 or Academic Plan is equal to COSC-BS. This course is a survey of the concepts, theory, and techniques of information systems for management. Emphasis is on the role of information itself and on computerbased information systems as aids to the control and operation of the organization. Case studies are used to illuminate the general manager's role in planning, specifying requirements, and evaluating and controlling such systems.
