Focuses on both recent and past innovations in the securities markets. Futures contracts and options and the theory of hedging, using both agricultural and financial futures contracts, options writing, and index options are stressed. A combination of theory and practice will be sought relying on lecture, text material and journal and trade articles, and may include guest speakers. PREREQ: BUSSTAT 208 and FINAN 303.
