Equipment orientation, basic mechanics, maintenance, riding techniques, trip planning, and logistics are all part of the itinerary. Several evening rides as well as an overnight trip in the backcountry are scheduled. Students must provide their own mountain bikes and helmets. May be repeated, maximum eight credits. (Pass/ Fail.)
