Designed to provide an understanding and working knowledge of the concepts and techniques pertaining to basic descriptive and inferential statistics. Business applications of such statistics concepts as the binomial and normal distributions, interval estimates, and hypothesis testing are covered. PREREQ: MATH 143, and computer competency is required. Computer competency may be demonstrated by ITM 104 and ITM 105 or successful completion of a computer placement exam for these courses.
