Study of geology in its natural environment - the field. Geologic mapping, collection, plotting and analysis of data and mapping on aerial photograph and topographic base to solve field problems. Student should expect to be in the field 8-10 hours per day, 6 days per week for 4 weeks. Final product is professional quality comprehensive geologic report, map, and cross-section. PREREQ: PERM/INST.
